Patty Andrews was 94 when she passed from us today, the youngest, lead singer, and last survivor of The Andrews Sisters trio. The group was extremely popular and brought a morale boast to many Allied troops stationed at home and overseas during WW2. They were one of my mother's personal favorites, so I made a special effort to post here. My mother was a teenager during the war.
Few survivors remain of the greatest war in history. Let us forever honor their service and an outstanding generation. Here we honor Patty Andrews and many memories of her and The Andrews Sisters.
