Hello,

I'm doing a full comp system upgrade today, and so I will be reinstalling IL2 and the mods later tonight or tomorrow, and hope you all can give me some advice on the best order in which to do this. I ultimately want to patch 1946 to 4.09beta.

Starting with IL2 1946(4.07), I'll patch to 4.08, but then...?

Sound Mod + what other essential/basic mods before I patch to 4.09beta and the 4.09 mod?

Or should I patch to 4.09beta before i install any mods?

install 4.08, then 4.09, finally mods. Also get the version switcher so you can play online with 4.08 (switch version = copy-paste 2 files)

Thanks Lucky! I've got the switcher (I had 4.09beta and mod installed a while ago, but had to do a re-install (good practice) for one reason or another about a month ago).
