just an idea has anyone figured out to look at the patches and how thenew planes were implamented into the game??

Java is interpreted and C/C++ is compiled. I bet the game engine itself is not weritten in Java, because interpreted languages are by definition slower in execution. Java might be used in menus and to set up objects and data but the flight engine itself must run in a fully compiled environment just loading the objects prepared by Java.
