I have quite some confusion with this patch and I need some details about it.
It seems there are relatively few differences to the ubi 409b patch. The files.sfs is dec27 instead of dec25 and the two mg dll's are deleted.
My first question is why a 250meg download rather than the 20meg needed to overwrite the ubi 409b patch? 408m is pretty old news.
The second is obviously the 093 soundmod is something like Jan07 isn't it (judging by the files.sfs in that)? So the soundmod needs to go in before the 409b mod patch anyway? Otherwise the soundmod overwrites the files.sfs from Dec07 to Jan07?
What I'm trying to do is keep a clean hdd for good graphics performance, plus a neat il2 folder for less confusion.
Twice so far my installation got to a point of working great with terrific mods, but the directory had become very messy (files directories, mods directories, who knows what in the il2 directory), and in goes a new beta mod nobody else seems to be having trouble with and my installation is stuffed. The reinstalls are really killing me here.
