Glad you like it. Personally, I hate this image - I think the blending is crap, the angles are all wrong for what I wanted, the Spitfire is too dark, and the shadow from the elevators is terrible. I quite like the 109 though

Man, you're too hard on yourself, M8! hock:
Critque CAN be good for learning for SOME people BUT if you internalize it you can end up never being pleased with even GOOD things that you make!
I've always maintained that an image is a WHOLE, not a collection of parts to be scrutinized individually. I really think that most people tend to see an image as a whole and like it or not on that basis. I don't think they say, "Well, I like it but I'm not going to buy it because the left ear on the horse isn't shaded enough!"

Hehe, I think its just cos I spent a while on it, and it didn't turn out the way I wanted it, and can see all the faults, thats probably why I don't like it, lol.

Hehe, I have no idea
Just the general Kent area...
My source says that Sqn. Ldr. Donald MacDonnell claimed 1 BF109E destroyed, a second as a probable and a third damaged Emil, a half share in a He111 destroyed and a second Heinkel damaged during action over Kent. I originally read that as they were all done over Kent, but, now reading it, it makes it sound like the only one over Kent may have been the damaged Heinkel. Wow... Sounds like this was all in one sortie, as it goes on to say "Heading back to Hawkinge, his ammunition exhausted, MacDonnell was jumped by a Bf109 and forced to bale out"
