It would be great if someone could develop a Mod that called similar cockpits.
Like in CFS2 you would write panel=.../.../A6M2.pnl or something like that and all the planes that shared a similar panel would refer to the one folder with the .tgas and .msh's

So, for instance, we could have one Japanese Zero 3do/Cockpits folder with the files in it, and all the other Zeros could use it. Same with Ki-84 , B-17, IL-2 classes of aircraft.

This would save GBs and loading time, esp. as all these cockpit repaints add up. Just a thought.

hmm but not all zeros got same instruments and equipement Fly! there were differences.

.... you have that already...by default. No double files are loaded if not necessary .... only him file + files which differs .
