I just got done loading a fresh install of Il2 1946 on my other computer. The only modification being the no-CD exe. file which I'm sure many people here have. Now for some reason, Il2 loads fine all the way to 95% and then stops. The only way to exit is through task manager. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I know my computer can handle it...Its a desktop with Windows XP and Nvidia 8500GT card. Perhaps there is some easy fix for this? Any ideas or things to try? Thanks guys!

BTW: I have already updated my drivers for my graphics card, and I have heard some people having problems with Nvidia cards....My other computer and all of my friends that have IL2 have that type...Works fine for them...

I haved this trouble too! You must desinstall all, and install in this order :roll:

- Intall the game
- no cd
- patches
- hL

..and then I pretty much did the same thing...Somehow the game works like a charm! Not too sure what happened! Wish I could elaborate to help someone in the future, but whatever...it still works! Thanks a bunch!
