An I-16 Rata hits the Macchi fighter of the Nationalists. The Macchi struggles to stay in the air but fails after many stalls and attempted dodges.

The G.50 Freccia ("arrow") fighters were the first Italian low-wing monoplane fighters. Armed with German Daimler-Benz engines, these Italian fighters were maneuverable and dangerous in combat. They proved their worth during the Spanish Civil War and in North Africa. Many of them also served in Finland during the two wars, the Winter War and the Continuation War, that she fought with Russia; unfortunately, their effectiveness was limited due to the lack of spare parts.

Yes, you are right. I was wrong:

Although only there were 12 of them in Spain and they didn't show Italian symbols. Only Nationalists (black circle and San Andres cross).

Sorry Frustration.

Guys the Fiat G.50 is a FIAT no a Machi. They are not so good and his actuation in Spain was short and not really important.
BTW Rata is the FASCIST name for the I-16, republican name was Mosca, a corruption of the word Mockba appearing in the boxes

Yeah, you guys are talking about the Fiat G.50, not the Macchi MC.200.

The 200 has blisters on the engine cowling and the 50 has a large hump where the cockpit sits.
