[Yardstick]

I use a number of cockpit mods, P-47s, Spits, 190 etc, but Freddy's 109 cockpits in particular seem to suffer from a bug where they dissapear a few seconds after the game launches. Offline this is easily fixed by pressing 'escape' a few times. However, online after the cockpit disapears the game locks up and the escape key won't work. The only remedy is to go back to desktop and close the game in 'task manager'. It happened to me four times in a row this evening trying to fly the E-4 on the 1940 BOB server and in the end I gave up and flew offline.

What causes the problem and is there a fix other than the obvious one of disabling the cockpit mods online?
