Any chance of a Randomizer?...
#1

Certificates' AI mods have been a huge boost to us offliners taking away a huge amount of the predictability that was, to an extent spoiling the experience. The final nail in the coffin of that predictability would surely be if some genius out there could make a mod that would randomize the appearance of flights of aircraft both friendly and enemy so that we could never be sure what we were going to come up against just as in real life. I have seen a Randomizer mod on another site but it seemed a bit complicated to me plus of course it maight not work with AAA approved mods.

Would have thought something like Uberdemon quick mission or DCG would do the job.
There is some info on the forums here about getting DCG to work with new AC and maps.

Would those things work within the Mission Editor? I'm not really into the 'quick mission ' type of game.

If you script a campaign:

campaign.ini:

Quote:[Main]
Class il2.game.campaign.CampaignBlue
awardsClass il2.game.campaign.AwardsDEfighter
  • FW190_0001.mis
    FW190_0002.mis
    FW190_0003.mis
    FW190_0004.mis
    FW190_0005.mis
    ...
FW190_0019.mis FW190_0019a.mis FW190_0019b.mis // the campaign will choose a random mis file here
    FW190_0020.mis FW190_0020a.mis FW190_0020b.mis
    FW190_0021.mis
    FW190_0022.mis

@benson: It seems that a program like the Sturmovizer is exactly what you are looking for. I wouldn't call it a "mod", rather an auxiliary program tool. Click on my banner below this post for some infos about the program plus downloads.

@vpmedia: Thanks for mentioning my little Sturmovizer tool. I know that creating a mission template is a bit complicated and takes some time. I'll write a better documentation how to do it as soon as I'll find the time.
