Has anybody made a tropical/mangrove swamp texture yet?

zipzapp's new Islands map has a swamp section on it. Look in the WIP maps section. :wink:

Thanks for the suggestions, gentlemen. I'll first try Zipzapp's texture to see whether it's suitable for Borneo.

The cal_Zimbotho map also had a rather large swamp area on it as well. That was a well done map in many aspects, especially the feel of the terrain.

I did not use a special swamp texture. The swamps are made from standard burma textures (with added tree file) and water in map_c, softened also in map_c (grey instead of white). Without changing map_c this will not work.
