Explanations

For some events, there are no explanations.

This is the same crash, and the images are in the correct order, note the rudder.

Guesstimates of the series of events are welcome, but you would be amazed at what really happened.
If I still have the track, I might add a short video of it later on. :wink:

you had already crashed in the first pic, and the plane was rolling along the ground like a car in a crash?

It's not me, it's Carosel43, should have mentioned that.

He had hit the tank in the first image, and if you look at the trails at the wingtips, he's still moving forward at some speed.

yay! my epic failis now famous, and guys, really, you will never guess the chain of events, i cant even get my head round it and i saw it unfold in all its horror and flying beaufighter parts. however tsb47 is correct in saying i had already crashed once, also, the 'mauneouver' began at about 430kmh so yea, go figure Tongue

the "bounce bug"? where sometimes impact with ground or water doesnt always mean destruction? I have had this happen a lot with spitfires, occasionally with p38late

q. is the pilot dead? the guns are firing in both shots, or were just stuck in target fixation?

pilot died about 10 seconds before 1st impact (12 seconds before first picture), and there was some bouncing going on

No, this is no bounce bug... Not even close... this is a crash of epic scale, dreadful to say, this was also as realistic a crash as any however horrible it was!
