Hello there,
i do some test maps to test Sweden Airforce for the Alpha version of the Danmark map.

Rigth not i need an other guide or turial Better that one that comes from the box,

exempel, i whant so u can mark more then one object so i can move them and roll them
and i also missing ctrl C ctrl V ctrX, im pretty sure i have read about this somewhere bot forgot where they are.

any one that can help me out a bit, so it will go smother to work whit the qmb.

last question is it just inte the unlocked qmb u can put in airfields, those read arrows.

i have some vierd going on whit my unlocked qmb, its always crash, i dont know if it is just for 4.08 i use

Hey there EQT


To select and rotate objects>
Hold down Ctrl and Alt then left click your mouse and drag over objects to select,the object icons should all turn red.

Up in the top of your window you must find Edit and look at the drop down list and click rotate to be able to rotate groups of objects together.


These must be added to the Confi,there is info in the map tool downloads on this and in the unlocked FMB Mod>
ctrl C ctrl V ctrX all must be added to your Config under the correct section> [HotKey builder] in order to use the commands in Unlocked FMB.

Yes you must have Unlocked to edit maps for airfields ete. this is a major task and requires a lot of reading to learn as well as trial and error with testing.If you are going to modify maps you should apply for a map prefix as map making actually changes the maps,it is not like a mission file.

Large maps will not open in Unlocked FMB,you must use the Actor's cutter tool to cut the size of the Actor.static down to a smaller size ( less objects ) in order for them to open without CTD.

All of your questions and the above info I posted have to do with map making and nothing to do with the QMB.The QMB has no direct influence over maps,it only reads mission files that are built in the FMB.

Unlocked FMB is only for making maps,you can not save missions in Unlocked FMB!

Any other questions on map making, the Map Mod Discussion section would be where to post,
there would be more people in that section for info on maps and making them or modifying them.
