I recomend you to give a hand of varnish to make both the paint and the marking look the same bright.
The finnish markings are veryyyyyyy difficult to find (at least in Spain).

Yes i know first whole plane (no windows) to shiny and then put stickers on and then whole plane with stickers matte... Im gonna do that in my next model.

heres a useful tip, cockpit is always the last piece to be put on, its alot easier to paint it aswell.

for paint wise, use light layer of paint, layer after layer, that way, it will minimise the brush lines.

from my experience.

not sure about washes, but for panel lines, just use a F lead pencil and trace in the lines. aswell.

and paint chips will make this plane more realistic imo

Well you have to use less glue because it melts the plastic and make the surface looks bad like in your model.Try to make each part peace to peace let them dry them glue them together and you will get great finish.

forgot to mention putty, it's your BEST friend in modelling, for me i used mr.Dissolved putty (semi-liquid) from mr.hobby, easy to clean and its pretty neat.

yeap and some times use putty with liquid glue together it makes putty smuth and removes the unnecessary putty of the model and it is almost ready for paint.
