Then i will go in Il-2 , Crash! By 5%

Now i am Downloading (The link is inoperative) (AAA AIRCRAFT MOD-PACK v2.7 *UPDATE*)

Help me What i do?

IMO .... Your best bet is to start with a clean install of 4.08 then the Unified Installer ver 1.1 and it's patch. Once you see that is running OK then select and load other mods.

It is confusing and I notice many new to the mods are loading three or four mods in varying order. The UI solves all that and makes it very easy to load other mods. I started loading mods just before UI 1.0 was released ... prior to that it was tough to get going. Like you I had various glitches (mostly me) ... but once the UI came out it simplified everything. Game runs great and I have so many mods loaded over the UI I can't image how I played 8 years without them!

I'm getting this same problem.

I downloaded the game via steam... uploaded the files correctly... but it crashes at 5%. Its a clean install, this was the first mod I have ever experienced with. It looks quite interesting and I'm excited to try it out. I'll probably end up donating if it works... its going to bring life to a game that I was already getting quite addicted to but slowly getting tired of. =p


Edit: When using the "original_IL2fb" executable file it crashes as well at 5%, but more quickly.

Any ideas? =(

I also DL'ed IL-2 from steam and couldn't get the UI to run without crashing at 5%. I did some research and apparently steam only has IL-2 patched to 4.07m. I would recommend a clean install of the game and then Dl the 4.08m patch here http://files.filefront.com/IL+2+Sturmov ... einfo.html or anywhere you feel comfortable with. After you get the game patched up you can then install the UI. It took a little bit for it to load up to 100% the first go round but now it works fine, Hope this helps.
