I'm having a weird problem with my external views (F2) the flyby view (F3) works fine. Normally when you press the F2 key you can move the mouse to the left or right and scroll all the way around the aircraft or move the mouse forward and backward to go above or below the plane. My views only go left to right or up and down, the view is always from behind the plane. I just noticed this after installing the B-17 cockpit mod but I don't know if that is the culprit because the problem still exists after the mod is removed.

I also just noticed that in the cockpit when I use the hat switch to look around it does not snap back to the forward position like it should. I don't have the 6DoF version of the game enabled. I'm pretty confused right now....

did you also install pat smoke and camra mod?? if you did then press f8 a few times, then press f9 and return to your normal f2 view. hope it helps

Figured it out, I somehow hit the F9 key for Toggle Snap/Pan View
