Hi all, just thought I'd share these skins, they are part of my project making new generics for most of the Japanese planes that we have in game (link in my sig)
I tried something a little different these skins, I reduced the panel lines and rivets to be almost invisible, to more closely match photos of the real thing, where most panel lines are barely (if at all) visible. Let me know what you think of this technique, I may make it a habit for future skins.
These skins are intended for those who use either MatManager or Vpmedia's default skin mod, to replace the (*cough- horrible...) default skins in game. The A6M2 pack includes only skins with no national markings, I may update it to include these at a later date. The A6M3 pack includes both marked and unmarked versions.
First, the A6M2s (link: http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=...ls&id=5093):
The A6M3s (skins will be uploaded in a few days, I have a couple more versions to finish for the Tainan group's newly released A6M3-22 and 22b mod)
And, the A6M5/7s- these will also follow in a few days, and they will include versions painted as both Mitsubishi and Nakajima- built models (slightly different colors and fuselage paint demarcation lines)
A6M5:
mitsubishi
Nakajima:
A6M5a:
A6M5b:
A6M5c:
Anyway, that's all for now. Let me know what you guys think!(questions/comments/suggestions/criticism/any other feedback is all VERY welcome)
