Hello everybody

If this happended to be the Airfix kit , I would like to see the box !. Never seen an Airfix kit of this quality.( I have more than 4000 kits at home ! )

I would say that this one just looks pretty like the Tamya kit by looking at the panel lines and the Trop filter and canopy

Of course if this is really an original Airfix kit , this is a real piece of art and a lot, lot, lot of work has been involved !

If it's a Tamya , just a very well painted and finished model.

Anyway -nice work

Hello Crazy

O.K.

Then you are a first rate engraver !

Let me guess ...
Aires 1/72 cockpit
Quickboost exhausts
Quickboost Props and Spinner.
Trop.nose from Tamya or resin part
Clearvax or Squadron canopy.
Resin control surfaces.or stock parts very well improved.
Putty-Sandpaper and a lot of "savoir faire ".

I was pretty sure that the first picture was from the Tamya spit wing ....just because of the panel lines and that radiator bathtub !.If it's Airfix , your engraving job is simply superb .(Maybe just a little bit heavy considering the paint scheme , just my opinion ...

Congratulations .

P.S. What kind of paint ( acryl or enamels)

For the amazing metal paint ALclad 2 paintings are awsome (www.alclad2.com) the decals are custom and yes from Quickboost i used the exhausts and for the cocpit area a guy here in Greece "Sarvinos Kwstas" made this awsome work custom made cocpit just cut from the fusulage until behind the radio box and replace with the new parts, photoetch belts instruments and more, also the edge of the wings and the wheels area are also made by him he is an expert in 1/72 scale category with lot of international trophys like IPMS uk.

This Sarvinos Kwstas is for sure an "ace".Never heard about him before.
Anyway I'd like to see some of his realizations.
I think he based his work on the Tamya Kit.

Now just for my curiosity. Why all this work on an old kit ( but still very very good) and this money spent on aftermarkt products, than just building the Tamya with a Quickboost props and spiner ?

Anyway , Can you post other kits you made.
