I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but I have not been able to find an answer. I know how to set bomb delays in the QMB, but have not been able to find out just how to do this in the FMB. My first guess was to manually edit the mission file, but that so far hasn't worked. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
BTW thanks to all for all the hard work to improve this game. I flew Aces High for ten years, but now prefer to fly IL2.
Thanks in Advance

I don't think you can set the bomb delay in FMB, the only way to do it in a off-line mission is to click on the arming button in the briefing screen.

My best guess on this would be to create a QMB mission with bomb delays, then look at the .mis file. Then make a mission with FMB and compare the .mis files to see where the delay needs to be put and in what format.

Hey its actually pretty easy, you don't need to edit it in qmb. All you need to do is when you open the fmb and load the mission it will bring you into a screen with the diffuculty settings and stuff, also it should have another button which is aircraft customization. Click that and you should the same thing that if you click that in qmb. Its the same screen, on the bottom theres that bomb delay and all you need to do is type in the delay time. Simple as pie. Look before you click fly the mission.
Hope that helps

Well, I'm sure you finally realized that you cannot set the bomb delay for the AI....in the QMB, FMB, or anywhere else. The bomb delay setting only applies to the Player's plane.

This is true. AI pilots will even blow THEMSELVES up if you set them up to bomb too low.
Maybe a bright person will one day make a mod to correct this issue.
