Other Aircraft worth considering are the Dornier 17/217, Douglas Skyraider, Antonov AN-2, Mig 17, BOB era He111/JU 88, :o just a suggestion.
A few other Classic aircraft to consider....

I think both dorniers are on the way, at least the 17 is wip. Skyraider is wip, a ju 88 nighfighter is in the works i believe and mig 15. The mig 17 is most likely too advanced and new/modern for the game engine :wink:

+ Vultee Vengeance Dive Bomber. The best allied dive bomber of WW2 that know one knows about because of its obscure history. Used heavily by RAF in Burma and by RAAF in New Guinea.

Moved... Gents, please ensure that you post in the correct section, requests go in the mods discussion section... I'm pretty sure all of these have been requested already, many times. Just give it time, as i'm sure at some point someone will make these aircraft -- it's just a low priority for them atm.

maximal speed is below 1000 km/h, armament could be just few cannons... so it can be done for il2
an-2 was civilian aircraft, but anyways i hope somebody can done it... maybe frankenplane from u-2?

He means the avionics of the MiG-17 are far beyond the scope of what IL-2 was designed to simulate.

You ought to have a pre-planned copy and paste statement for this. Make it a paragraph long... Keep it tucked away on the desktop somewhere, in notepad...
