I have a few trk files that i recorded during my routine gunnery practice, they were recorded w/ 4.09m offical and they work perfectly, however, after i installed the 1.1 mod package and rolled back to 4.08, those tracks can not be played. The same happenes when i try to play the 08 trk files in 09m or 09b1. Is my trk file corrupted or they just don't "cross play"?

The .trk files will not work across versions.

Using .trk files for playback is discouraged by 1C, they often playback "wrong". Use .ntrk files instead.

Assign a key for making "quicktracks" (I use the "Q" key), these are saved as .ntrk files. Although much larger, the advantage of .ntrk files is that they do work across versions and are much more accurate.

...also to help accuracy.... do not time skip....or make them in very large or busy missions...the more going on the harder for it to keep a track of things.
