Flightmodel and Weapons loadout modifications for stock aircraft are not allowed on this forum.

If someone wants to make a new slot aircraft then it's fine.

First of, the IL2 Horten 229 does not come with bombs so someone would have to model a bomb for it. Also the standard modern of the Horten which is in IL2 did not have bombs in the aircrafts ordinance arsenal. Later versions of the Horten did carrier bombs, but which, did not see combat. There is a low chance of ever seeing the BOmber-versions of the Hortens becuase of the "fantasy-luft planes" debate. I am all for the idea but you would either need to make it yourself, get someone to make it and make more fantasy planes, or have a modder to personaly make the correct meshes. All of those are quite unlikely possibilities.

actually I do posess a Ho-229 A2, as a 3x1000 project. comes with bombs and rockets and better engines.

but it has a flightmodel on it's own, does not need new buttons so will never be allowed here and may not work online.
It was built for offline joy only over at SAS, so check out there, i will repost it.

Oh, please Big Grin

I will check the SAS site for sure. I really like to fly this wing  And always felt it is a bit underpowered.

Besides, this sim is not only for online play. Many forget this.

I have a new slot He-219 from SAS and it is really a joy to fly. So looking forward for your post :!:

EDIT: Just downloaded it from SAS site. Great plane. THANKS!

There are some technical obstacles as a new slot plane. While the HoIX was submitted under those specifications the prototypes and design documents show no provision for bomb racks. However, there was provision for 4xMk108 (in approximately the same location as the two Mk-103s) and there was also pressure to have a vertical stabiliser added (possibly without any control surfaces).
