A good friend of mine installed the UI 1.2 and everything was going well. Last night unfortunately he discovered that playing online he did not have any sound at all (internal and external). After I started a second mission, he discovered his graphics went crazy. He could see the aircraft's but the ground and sky was all black with no horizon, but he did see the mountains but it was all pixelized big time.
He and I are at wits end so if anyone can help us here, we will be forever in your dept. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Best regards. :???:

PS. He did a clean install and patched it up to 4.08, if that helps any, thank you.

What about installing 1.1 first?
Sounds like his conf.ini is not properly set up for his graphics hardware...not sure about the sound missing...Can you provide any more details?

Rgr that Bulau, after the clean install he patched it to 4.08 and then installed UI 1.1 and then UI 1.2, he then proceeded to start his sim (offline) and everything went well. It was only when he tried to connect online with me that he found out he didn't have any sound at all. Plus his graphics got into the picture. No ground or sky was visible, only the aircraft's. Hope this helps.

If you're running the program under DirectX, try to switch to OpenGL
