Hi.

When i try to start il-2 1946, the game closes itself when there are mods installed with the 4.09 version and when i remove all the mods (reinstall game and patching it again) and there are no mods, it works fine.
What to do now?
I really want mods in it

I have 4.09b1m myself and im not sure some of the mods I put on are even working at all even though I use the loader. What version of the game should I have for everything to run smoothly?

The 60% crash is well known problem. Just saying you "installed the mods" tells us virtually nothing about what you did.There are several ways to install mods, each of them with several critical steps...if you told us what you did, step by step, we could diagnose your problem.

1. Installed the mod activator (ran the auto unzip file in my main il2 1946 folder).
2. Installed the 4.09b1m patch (ran the the auto unzip in my main il2 1946 folder).
3. tested if the game worked (yes, i worked fine).
4. Installed the B-29 Silverplate (auto unzip in main il2 1946 folder)
5. started the game, and it crashed at 60% of loading screen

My PC is running on Windows 7

The exact mod activator would be nice to know...normally you can't just install the Offical 4.09b1m patch after the mod activator. There is a 4.09b1m Mod activator, though.

Your 60% crash after step 4 is probably because the B-29 needs buttons 3.8. Did you download and install Aircraft Installer v3.8? It's also possible that Win7 may be preventing the installers from editing .ini files.

What about when it crashes or should I say freezes at 95 percent? I just installed the game. No mods, patc hes or anything. Advice?
