Hi guys. I'm hopeing for alittle assistance here. I tried to install Tiger33's new sound mod. I followed the instructions, and do have the new sounds, but now every mission I try, either single or campaign causes the following: ERROR: mesh/3do/humans/paratroopers/Russia/mono.sim not created.
The error occurs at about 90% loading. Can anybody give me any assistance? Everything went haywire since adding the new mod. Thanks for any help.

Maybe just maybe REMOVE new mod?
I have the very same issue and not been able to fix it at the time being ...

I seem to have got it working, but I'm keeping fingers crossed. This is what I did. I started from a clean slate, without reinstalling. Since I make backups of all files I intend on changeing or deleating, It was easy to restore the game to the way it was. Next, on the advice I read from another poster in the "Tiger33 Sound Mod" main thread, I installed in the following manner: First, I created a folder and called it "New Sounds". Next, I unzipped the mod, and copied the two folders (not the readme's) into the newly created "New Sounds" folder. Finally, copy the new folder (New Sounds in my situation) to the mods folder in your game. So far, it seems to be working. I need to test further to be sure.
