Is there any way to get the P-40C mirror back while using HSFX 4.1?

I have always had Toggle Mirror mapped and it has and still works for other planes in the game like Corsairs, P-38's etc., but ever since HSFX 4.1 came out the P-40C mirror was removed from the cockpit and it cannot be toggled on.

HSFX was designed to be custom for the SEOW people. Maybe they decided that the P-40C mirror should be removed and included it in a cockpit mod embedded in the history mod just as they did the USN/USMC gun sight reticules with their inaccuracies.

All I know is that I would like to see the P-40C mirror returned and the F4U-1 and Corsair MkI (currently have the N3 sight with HSFX 4.1) get the proper Mk8 gun sight returned as was historical and put the N3 Gun Sight into the F4F-3 (currently has the Mk8 gun sight with HSFX 4.1) which was historical. Right now they are reversed.

Hence why I've stuck with the UI for my offline play. I control it, I decide what sounds, mods and addons are in it, plus I can remove anything that I don't like or has a conflict.
Each system has it's plus's of course, but for me the UI is still my best option and I wish to god it was taken further..

Ah you have assumed that I did not already have this function mapped. Since HSFx 4.1 the mirror was removed from the P-40C. No matter how many times you hit the toggle mirror key it does not appear.


Now does anyone have any idea how to get the P-40C mirror back into the game?


Does anyone know how to remove nowonderdog's mod for gun sight reticules or have a mod to replace his mod and not lose the gun sights in the P-400, P-39D-1 & 2 and P-39N-1 because if you use the Defualt Reticle mod (not my spelling by the way) you lose all reticules in the P-39 versions that I mentioned?

Try this:

Go into his mod.
In the 3do\cockpits folder.
Put a "-" in front of any cockpit you don't want to use.

I am using HSFX 4.11. I do not have a folder named 3do\cockpits folder in either the JSGME Mods folder or my MODS folder. I only have a bunch of fb_3do.sfs files & fb_hsfx3do.sfs in the root directory. Where do I find this file that you mention?

Umm isn't this the correct area, IL2 MODS Discussion Section, for a question regarding the P-40C Mirror that disappeared with HSFX and how to go about getting it back?
