I think the main problem with this aircraft in relation to IL-2 is the landing cycle. Having the parts of the aircraft separate, then you and it come down on a parachute is possible but might be a bit tricky to code.
The big problem comes as I see it, is how do you get the game to under stand that you bailing out is not bailing out but your landing!!! so it doesn't effect your score or the out come of the mission.
If you didn't find away round this problem every time you entered the landing cycle and separated from the aircraft, it would be mission failed as soon as you hit the ground.
If you do find away round the bailing out / landing cycle problem it brings up a another problem, how then dose the game tell the differences between you bailing out to land and you bailing out because the aircraft is damage?
I don't know if any ones thought about it but what about the He P.1077 "Julia", its more or less works the same as the Natter but would be easier to do as it lands on a skid.

Looks cool. I think it took off like the Me-163, though and I think the charm of the Natter is the vertical launch. It is for me.
