When you HSFX v4.1 installed, you can install also:

To install new aircraft, in my case I created the folder MODS:
C: \ Program Files \ Ubisoft \ IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 HSFX \ MODS
And in that folder and install the new aircraft and cockpit, as directed by the creators

When i installed HSFX 4.0, I downloaded it in 2 parts: HSFX part 1 .exe and HSFX part 2 exe.In both cases, when I try to installed It in the middle of the process appears a window that ask for "insert disk 2"-what disk 2 ?(guess that is the problem with my trouble)

My copy of HSFX 4.0 is in seven parts, downloaded via torrent.

All seven parts need to be in the same folder. When you click on the first part it will automatically read the other parts.

Ok,I did so(all in one folder), but why appears that window"insert disk 2"?...and. of course I can't insert it and it sys that installation is not complete.And another thing :How come that now I got in my game new charts-Mediterranean Sea, Bessarabia, Slowakia, and some new flyable planes(SM 79, new versions of I 16-on skis), but not all(including B24, Hs 192?).What should I do?

List the names of all the files and their size in that folder.
Either you're missing some, or they are corrupted.

I click on HSFX_Version_4.EXE and a window opens to ask me to select the game folder to install to.
Select folder and run the installer.

Thats it.

Part2 is called up by the installer automatically.

My operating system is Windows XP Home Ed

You're right...only the torrent download link on that page. That's actually the best way to download, though. Get the utorrent program (link is on that same page) and install it. Then download HSFX 4.1 via torrent.

With this program you can download all the patches and updates quickly and safely

I reinstalled the game, patched with 4.08 and 4.9 .Game runs ok and i tried to install HSFX 4.0.I put all the files in a folder, click on HSFX_Version_4.EXE and started to install.After few seconds it display the estimated time necessary for comlete install rising and rising.After 5 hours it installed only 25% and displayed the full estimated time around 24 hours.What should I do?

It is done, my boys.I managed to install it-it was a missing file in HSFX exe part 1.I followed exactly the steps in thte installation guide link.Thank you all, it's great!

Two more questions: Is there a technical data guide for the new aircraft, like the initial game have?

And , can I use the new aircraft in "career" mode?
