Hello skinners,


a long time ago i have downloaded two skins for a Bf 110G-4. As i realized, they were 3MB large. I tried to resize them to 1MB as the others are but with no luck. How can i resize a 3Mb skin to 1Mb ?. With this size the skins wont appear when selected.

The bit depht is 24 and i need a depht of 8.

Any suggestions?

You need a program called Bright, :wink:

It is very easy! your colour mode was wrong.

open PS, load your skin, click image in the tool bar, choose mode, click index mode.

save to BMP, done!

remember, only BMP skin in the index mode can be displayed in the game! the reson why your skin is 3MB is that your colour mode is RGB, not index.

Bright is better. It saves a lot of the color. Index tends to pixelate some of the colors and the plane doesn't look as good.
