DiRT 2: Cut the corners!
#1

Hi!

This is my first gameplay video and the first time I've used sony vegas Big Grin
The footage is from Colin McRae rally DiRT 2, and my laptop is not designed for recording some of the newest games...
The FPS was about 10 when I made it and I tried to fix it with some tricks, and it ame out pretty smooth.

I will rework it with interpolation so it will be less jerky.

Nice Video! I use Sony Vegas too. I have not played DiRT 2 myself, but one trick I love to do in il-2 to smooth up recordings on a slow pc is record it at half speed, and then speed it back up in sony vegas by 200%. So even if you recorded it at 10 fps, you would get 20 fps through this method. Of course, that only works if you can slow down the replay speed in DiRT 2, I have no clue. If you have any questions about Sony Vegas, just ask me, I use it quite a bit. Adobe After effect may be worth looking at as well, it is horrible for editing, but you can make amazing effects with it. Big Grin

I've found a program that can interpolate the video, so it makes up new frames between existing ones! It works pretty well. Here is the link to the demo video:
