( Well, it's several months old, so not so new I suppose
)
About one year ago, AAA had the Unified Installer 1.2, as you might remember. In it was most of the popular mods of that time. Monguse was going to release the UI 1.2.5, but he agree to roll it into the HSFX 4.1 which was available in early 2010.
I assume that many of the old mods that you seek are in the HSFX 4.1 for the above reasons. If you get it, then you would also get the JSGME Mods Enabler which is great for managing and adding mods. Every mod in it that is available would be listed in the Mods Enabler interface. The disabled mods would be in the left side and the enabled mods would be in the right side list. Also, most mods can be added fairly easy to the JSGME Mods Enabler.
