Chebawookie, the biggest cheat is called F2 or in other words "external view"...every server that allows external views is a cheat server...so please don't write these things here...you 're not talking to kids that just to play an arcade game, I am on flight sims since the days of Ace of Aces!

Thats not the case since EVERYONE on that server can do it. I don't see the problem with what he said. If you are using something like the acemaker gunsites on a server that isn't mod friendly, well, you are in the wrong by a long shot.

Trackir on the other hand is accepted.

If you think this isn't the case I'd like for any of you to go into Zekes vs Wildcats or Spits vs 109's and tell them you are using trackir. No one will care. Then tell them you are using mods and see how long it takes them to ban you. If its so ok to do, then go for it and let them know. I bet none of you will. lol

C'mon, the guy didn't say anything bad to any of you. He just suggested and asked that no one take these mods, good or bad, into a server that doesn't want them there. No harm there.

I'm sure real WWII pilots didn't call their fellow pilots cheaters simply because they had a more advanced gunsight fitted to their a/c.

Personally I wouldn't grace a mod-hostile server with my presence, but all the same I do not consider historically accurate enhancements of the sim to be cheating at all. All the mods in the world are no substitute for good piloting skills.
