Does Slovikia have large bodies of water that are navigable by ships?

Also, have a look at the files for Finland. You will see a ed_map_t in there, and it seems to only contain 2 shades of grayscale.

I'm off to create this file for the slot...

mine still doesn't allow ships...

but it looks like the colours of my map_T are not the same as those of default maps...?

mine is very dark...and the sea is black =0 and the land gets a tiny bit lighter where the mountains are.....

but the default map_t has grey =28 for the sea ...and the land is 0 or whatever depending upon the height..??

how can this be wrong...i made the map C/T/H according to the guide for Microdem

how can I just change my colours to read the same values as default???

I cannot seem to work it out....looking at the map_t.tga of the Malta map or others....why is mine so different?
I followed the instructions on doing it in microdem....no matter how much i try fiddling with the settings there .....it never comes out looking like theirs

somebody help me Cry there must be something important I'm doing wrong

Ok now my water allows ships.....managed to change the colour (without the hinderance of Photoshop)....

playing with vehicles now......on my map they will cross rivers (I haven't got around to putting any bridges or roads in yet)...as will the trains......so I don't really need to bother making many real bridges as there were not many main roads then anyway in thailand....
But, I have noticed that vehicles shy away from certain textures, and refuse to cross them...even on flat low ground.....and those are textures from the mount pallette....I didn't know that they were affected by the textures in that way......this is all off-road BTW
