this is the place to get your multi-throttle set-up working

I'm waiting for them to implement the Saitek Aviator

thanks for the fabianfred...but i was already aware....im more interested in wether it IS possible in game...where i would look to find the bytes that pertain to throttle movement and axis selection.....besides...im not that keen on sending money over the net to some fella on the other side of the world, whom i dont know from adam....If it was a big corporation..i would be less nervous about it...but besides...it is just a work around...

So if anyone can give me the nod as to how to go about looking for the said bytes (if they even exist)...is it a matter of using a hex editor on particular files, which files, what would you suggest i look for.....just any help anyone can give would be appreciated....cheers

now available for AV8R users.......throttle program free download...but license to use Java is $25

I got mine today and have been trying it out with my aviator stick
the lock button which locks the two controls together is useful for when flying a single engined plane

the seperate throttles are a boon when flying the big twin engined planes...especially like the B-25...where they like to pull left on take-off...and full rudder doesn't always help...but this way keep the right engine at 60% and its fine
great for easy taxiing too

On my simpit panel ( www.kfreeman.com ) I have 2 MFD: one is dedicated to IL2 and the other to FS2004. The MFD (left) for IL2 has Eng#1, Eng#2 and Both Eng buttons. It could be expanded but I found no need.

Looking at the panel: the leftmost switch panel is: flaps, spoiler and wing fold. The rightmost switch panel is: gear, tailwheel lock and tailhook.

The left MFD is for IL2 only and the right MFD is FS2004 only.

The center switch panel is for functions common to both sims.

The switch and dial knob on the left is audio control. The switch on the lower right is oanel lighting.

All of my view controls are on the throttle.

Trim and combat controls are on the stick.

My rudder pedals have brakes (differential braking in FS2004).

The monitor is 27" plasma.

Ken
