I see a post, that was locked (i don't know why) that says to leave files folder outside the MODS folder. Originally, I think we were told to move it inside and possibly rename it etc. NOW IT SEEMS TO BE THAT THIS FOLDER NEEDS TO BE OUTSIDE THE MODS FOLDER AGAIN.

?? CAN WE JUST MOVE IT BACK OUTSIDE ??!!

With the advent of the new AC installer, this hasn't really been addressed. Or has it?

The original IL2 'files' folder should NOT be moved from its location OUTSIDE the MODS folder!

I think the folder you are thinking of was the original MODS folder before the wrapper was released, which you should have renamed something like 'zzz_mods' - this should contain all the pre-wrapper files and should be IN the MODS folder.

Please can everyone who is installing these mods not change the folder from the 'files' folder for the older mods !

All new mods go into the 'MODS' folder but leave all the older files within the 'files' folder Dont move them ! if you do this it will mess up future installs of mods / updates.

the files folder is still useful for root files - i do not want to see it gone just yet :wink:

and MrJolly is the maker of autoinstaller for all AAA mods so ....
