Can't delete 409_MOD_b1m.exe
#1

I have the file 409_MOD_b1m.exe sitting on my desktop but I can't delete it. Whenever I try, the computer tells me that some program or person is using it. I went so far as to go into my task manager and shut down *everything* that wasn't labeled as SYSTEM, but the file is still showing as being used.

I'm also getting the same message for the folder MosquitoFBMKVI. I'm trying to move my PaintSchemes folder to my desktop so I can do a fresh install of IL-2 1946, but I want to keep the skins I've downloaded.

I have no idea what could possibly be using a skin, much less the 409.exe, but I can neither delete or move them even when everything is shut down. Anyone know what's causing this?

Thanks

Try this: http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/

It allows you to see what process is hanging on to the files, and force it to let go.

The usual caveat is presented by the software designer - this may cause system instability etc.
But I have never had any problems with it.
