Text to Map
#1

My appologies if I missed this in the Tutorial Section, I did scan over it.

However one of my first question (And I am stumbling around in the dark as far as map making, however) is,

How do you add Text to the Map. I noted in the FMB in the Objects section there is a Text, and Label choice you could make, but they didn't seem to do anything at all?

any help would be great?

(In fact, one of these days an official AAA map making walkthrough would be divine!!)

every map has text.txt file .... contains coordinates for labels along with font format info

line in each map load.ini determines which text.txt file will be loaded

example from my Bob normandy :
.
.
.
69766 40771 7 1 0 0 St_Remy
59420 44306 7 1 0 0 Aunay-sur-Odone
56273 51231 7 1 0 0 Villers_Bocage
79019 58362 6 1 0 0 Fleury-sur-Orne
78060 55682 6 1 0 0 St-Andres-sur-Orne
77714 53813 6 1 0 0 May-sur-Orne
85580 99259 7 1 2 1 London
73726 98414 7 1 1 0 Maidstone
57989 100103 7 1 2 0 Portsmouth

orange >>>> coordinates

green>>>> font formatting
