Hi guys, thought I'd take a look at your site to see what mods are all about.
Very impressive stuff, congratulations.
First off, I loaded up the Italy Africa Greece map, but couldn't get it to work. Closer examination revealed I needed the sound mod plus wrapper, so downloaded these. No hitches, except that the opening screen was in Russian, and the sim reverted to 4.08 from 4.09b, but lovely sounds.
Tried to re load the map, but still nothing appears. Downloaded the Malta map, nothing there either.
Tried placing the all.ini file in just about every location possible. Still no luck with the maps.
Re loaded version 4.09b, now cannot launch the sim from anywhere.
Before I do a system restore, anyone any ideas, or directions to responses to similar threads,

Mr Impatient here didn't read all the destructions properly!
I'm back to version 4.08m after a reinstall, together with the sound mods and the new wrapper.

It appears that there is the need to use a special 4.09b mod install pack, which I'm currently down loading. After that, I'll install the switcher. I'm sure there will be something somewhere to convert the opening screen back to English from Russian too, but it doesn't bother me too much.

Is there a "getting started" thread anywhere, which would explain all the above in words of less than 2 syllables, for all us computer numpties.

Early days, but mightily impressed with the work of the modders so far,
