Just a quick note of Thanks

Hi all....

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the work you have done. I am very late to the party, only having found out about the ability to MOD IL2 about 2 months ago, and then taking a month or so to take the plunge. I have been flying IL2 since it became available in the states, and I have been waiting for some of these features for a long time. I know from being part of (past and present) the CFS3 and FS9 & FSX community, that MODs can be a wonderful and horrible things. I fully support and appreciate your stand on FM and DM changes, I think its a great stance to take. Kudos.

I have to say that if nothing else, the sound mod is by far one of the MOST mesmerizing things of all the MODS here. Big radial engines sound like....well Big Radials! The damage sounds are outstanding. I swear the other night I took a hit while flying a A20G and the hit sounded so real I literally jumped/flinched so hard I almost put the plane in the drink while at the same time uttering a four letter exclamation over the Vent channel to my squadies. Seriously, thanks for that part of the MOD.

For me the 2nd biggest thing I got from you guys was the Slot Map. Finally, I can make campaigns for the reduction of Rabal, something I and others have been banging on the Ubizoo boards since PF came out. Again thank you. The other maps provided in the Universal Loader Thingy are also really great. Thanks for all your hard work.

Being able to fly a B17 in this game is really great. One of my favorite things to do in FS9 and X is fly A2A's heavy bombers, and while the IL2 engine is a little lacking for high altitude play, being able to fly these bombers is a nice addition.

In closing I'd like to say thanks again for all the hard work.

Take care and Blue Sky's!

Some nice words there m8! 8)

Am also glad to hear that you are enjoying The Slot. Big Grin

The AAA membership has several Slot campaigns in the works, by various authors, and Team Pacific just loves it when our work gets used by mission builders for quality scenarios.

Please let us know if you have any feedback on the map, as hardcore mission building always uncovers room for improvement.
