Hi, I have just recently downloaded the AAA installer and have been trying out some of the aircraft both in QMB and on a full switch server and have a couple of questions regarding bombsights.
I really like the idea of a level bomber version of the mossie, and the blenheim is good as well, but im confused about the bombsight. I know how to use the russian sight having flown the PE2 plenty of times.
My question is this: have the units been converted within the bombsight? or do I need to convert from MPH to KMH and feet into metres? Or have you converted the units? The reason I ask is the server I fly on most is full switch so does not have the speed bar, therefore cockpit instruments give different units to the bombsight. I tried level bombing in the blenheim earlier and missed by a good mile. If the bombsight still works in metric units then you need to do three calculations to get the right ange 1)altitude in feet to metres, 2)speed in MPH (or Knots) in KM/H and then use a table for IAS to TAS. Doing all three on a bomb run is very difficult!
Any help or info would be gratefully received!!
Thanks, great mods BTW!
