Hi!

I have a problem but I don't know if this is the right place to post it!

My problem is the file named CHIEF.INI!!!!!

I have modded my IL2 with U/I and all go right as long as I try to install mods which require modification to chief.ini file!
I try to find it in my mods folder...nothing...in my IL2 folder...nothing again...in my PC...not at all!!!
So I add the chief.ini of the mods that I try to install and.....CTD at 70%!!!!!!

I have tryed to resolve editing many time the file (even merging the other files and checking no double other .ini files)...but nothing , same result reinstalling the latest wrapper...the sistem begin to work right only deleting or renaming (-) the chief.ini file.

What I ask is:

-What do the chief.ini file?
-Which installer put it in the game?
-Haw can I solve the problem?

how can I add the chief.ini file to my game folder without more crash...

merge all your chief ini files into one and keep it in the STD folder.

Use winmerge.

if you have more than one of those various inis, you will probably ctd
