Hi there, had some free time the other day so I thought I would try and skin the Ar 234 Nachtjaeger mod by slow.

Any criticism welcome as it's bin a wile since I last skined.

Also I didn't have any RAF bombers to shot down so had a go at that as well, but ran into a bit of a problem with colours. Every site I looked on had different RGB/Hex values and most just didn't look right.

Any way, I'm pretty sure I got the Dark Green and Dark Earth right, but not shore about the Black Night paint used. So out of the two images below which Black paint do you thing think looks right???

I like the RAF skin more funnily enough. I must be colour blind as i can't really see a difference between the two blacks.

Well I think with the first skin the black colour has a hint of green to it while the 2nd one is a tad bit purple. That said I like the first one more!

Well I am colour blind and they look identical to me... I spent ages trying to find a difference between them but to no avail. Well done with the skin though, really does have the appearance of a british heavy.

When I have done skin's for my self in the past I get my colours from Simmers Paint Shop or Flugzeugwerk Colours but they just didn't look right to me, so browsed the net to see if I could get a better match. Read on two different modelling sites (I think!!!) that one was like a Dark Gray Black (#232324) and another Dark Blue Black (#1d1c21) they used?

I don't know, getting confused now lol. Any way here's 2 pics of a Lanc with the two different Blacks I used below them, but now starting to think it should be darker???

Oh also is there a way to edit the bottom of the perspexs nose so its blacked out?

Yes, there's 2 skins one with markings and one with out. There was going to be a third but I what ever I tried the numbers on the top of the tail would all ways come out distorted.
