I am experiencing problem with MGs and cannons on Spitfires. Every time I start shooting and then end it the sound of shooting still goes on for like a second or two. Any idea on how to fix that?

I never had that problem. This is the first I have heard of it. What causes that?

could you please post somewhere the preset files that go with these sounds. I seem to have lost one and i can't hear for example the canon in the me109 G2 but I can hear the mg.

I can not get the mod to work. I do not have the 1 basic file on my cpu, but do have the sample file. However when i extracted it to the sample file it did not work. Any ideas? There are 3 folders in my samples files, music, speech and sound, i tried putting them in the sound file but it was no good. Thanks!

Some do not have a 1Basic folder.
Do a search and look for a "samples" folder.
That will be the folder where all of your sounds are. I you wish, make a backup of your samples folder first. Simply extract my files into your samples folder and you will have the new sounds.

Since this seems to continue to be downloaded, I must say that I lost the base files I was working from due to a Windoze mishap. I will start working and improving on these and many more in the future.

I absolutely love these sounds.... However, none of them work...

I replaced all the old ones in my Samples folder. The old sounds no longer exist. But whenever I play the game, the darn thing still uses the old sounds! How? This doesn't make any sense to me. Is there some folder I'm not aware of that has to have these sounds too? No one else seems to have had this problem.

But trust me, I've replaced all the old sounds, and they are no longer in my IL-2 directory. But they still play in the game, and not the new ones.
