Historical skin of F-80B-5-LO served with the 94th Fighter Squadron of the 1st Fighter Wing, based in Ladd Field, Fairbanks, in Alaska in 1947. The aircraft bears the famous "Hat in the Ring" badge and wears Arctic Red high-visibility markings, which were to make downed aircraft more
conspicuous against a snow-covered background.

Incredible work as always man. My 20 month 1948 project is finally being completed (all of my spare time, If I can stay outta the bloody hospital etc) and I've become fascinated with AC of the post war period (always have been actually). Ive been dnloading korea era skins but this is one of hte best.

I like that this has no personal name or nose art and can be used on several AC, despite the number. Most don't notice that.
