Sorry for the noobish question, but.. how can I enable the blue arrows in the screen? (like I see in the screenshot from wingflyr).

They are probably pointing to enemies / friends planes, right?

You will not see them if you fly with cockpit on. You will need to be in "superman mode". In the difficulty settings, you will need to have the "Cockpit Always On" turned off (light out next to it). What button to press to get to that view, I have (purposely) forgotten.
