I now know how to change default skins on Modded AC ,its pretty easy but have no idea on how to do it on the sim's original AC in particular the YP-80.
Any help out there?

-Extract the .SFS-file that's got the aircraft
-Go into the directory \3DO\Plane\
-Find the directory "P-80(Multi1)\summer" and "P-80(USA)\summer"
-Unlock the .tga-files with the IMGviewer
-Rename the .tgb-file to _b.tga so you can unlock it too
-Edit them and rename the _b.tga back to .tgb

Or put his in your MODS folder and edit them (still need to rename the .tgb again) :
