Does anyone know where I can find heightmap of Finland and Russia near Leningrad? The satellite pics in map making tutorial does not cover area of Finland and Leningrad ETC.

I'm back from Lapland. It was a bit cold but fun. Will go to Norway @August.
About that satellite data. I haven't DL anything because the site is down all the time, But i think that they can be used. At least i hope that with fingers crossed!

EDIT: i just checked and it is DEM so it is good to go with mcroDEM. But they need more bandwich.

OK, when I try to D/L them, it slooowwlyy connects and starts downloading, but then after 4th one, when I try to download 5th tile, it starts downloading the 1st one and makes new file with same name and just (2) in the end of the name...

almost all plates.... Should I make whole Laatokka and bit of gulf of finland in 1:1 or 1:2? My bro says (he is not sure) that the area is already made, is it?
