I was just wondering if a mod for the Do217 is possible.I have always been a fan of the Do company and since the game has just the Do-335 I think a Do217 mod would be neat. the E-5 varient had the Henschel 293 radio bombs, the E-4 was a night bomber, etc., but an E-5 version would be especially good. Thanks!

It is unlikely that we see a Do217 soon, but the Hs293 could be in reach within this year as part of a late Fw200 release.

If you really want to help modders by doing something inatead of just requesitng for this aircraft, you can do these things that will provide modders alot of references which be much help to modders.


Go to this thread at (The link is inoperative) and follow my posting rules. At once you research and add references and provide them at my thread, I will add them to the aircraft requests library.

Click the link under 1900-1935, and then follow the second link from top to bottom.

You'll have flags of country's show there, so you can get the plane you want fast enough. 8)

BTW, the best blueprints have to be downloaded, and aren't show as pictures on the info page of the airplane, and the links always begin with Чертеж . :!:

If you would find Dornier Do-217E info and blueprint, I will truly appericate it. We need these where I can add them to my aircraft requests library list.

i know. it's my all-time favorite plane, and i would try to make it if i had an ounce of modeling experience, but i don't. the library where i used to live was getting a bunch of new computers and 3DS Max, and they were going to have free workshops, but i moved before that happened.
