If you mean windsocks as static objects, these are already available. If memory serves me correctly, they're in LAL_RHONE's excellent Hangar mod.

Unfortunately there is no moving one, at least not in LAL_Rhone's objects.

There is however a selection of three different positions (wind strength) and two different colours

... well there is moving flags mod , so i suspect same thing can be done with "socks" ... they won't follow wind direction though ( not really an issue cos wind blows always from the North in IL2 world... if i remember it correctly )

yea but zo the moving flag mod iust 2d magic. Sock;s are more 3d. This game dosn't warp meshes so it would never really look right.

Bringing this up again, flags might be 2D but smoke and fire are 3D. Aren't they? Couldn't the wind sock be modeled like those?
