zuti moving dogfight q's

Greetings.

I'm amazed at the additional content all the modders have provided for this sim. Great work doesn't begin to describe it.

Reading the readme with the latest zuti MDF mod it appears everything works as it does in standard coop missions? AI pilots, moving ships, etc...? And you can build missios as such.

G' day Wilkes, if you go to the "IL2 Missions & Campains Download", there are some missions you can download, that use Zuti's MDS mod. You can download 6 re flyable co-op/single player & 2 re flyable online dogfight/single player/co-op missions, that I've posted, in a single folder, here - viewtopic.php?t=19255 Big Grin
The "Pacific" mission has moving carriers that you can re fly from. :wink:

Thanks for the responses. I will be downloading missions in the near future for sure, but for now wanted to find out if I can make missions in the MDF that for all intents and purposes are what coop missions used to be. AI aircraft, moving ships, etc...it looks like the Zuti mod includes everything. Dynamic moving front lines, moving homebases on CVs-which are gone when the ship is sunk.

It appears to have eliminated the drawbacks of the old coop missions as you can die and respawn without starting the mission over. Very good!

The one way it differs from a true coop is that you can't select a seat in any of those aircraft with a course laid out with waypoints in the mission. Those aircraft are only for AI, including any gunner seats they might have. Your only way into the mission is by spawning at a Home Base, as in any dogfight mission, so you must place a Home Base with a selection of aircraft.

But in the other respects you specifically mentioned, yes, it is the same.
